    Maine Man Charged with Identity Fraud After Trying to Make Withdrawal at Warrington Bank

    Warrington police arrested a man from Maine after he allegedly tried to make a bank withdrawal using a local man’s ID.

    WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—A man from Bangor, Maine, was arrested at a Warrington bank after trying to make a withdrawal using the driver’s license of a Pennsylvania resident.

    On Sept. 24, police reported to the First Citizens Community Bank near the intersection of Easton Road and Street Road for the report of a fraud in progress. Employees said that a man later identified as Dustin Elwin Lawrence, 45, had been in the bank a short time before and tried to use someone else’s name and ID to make a withdrawal.

    Police were able to find Lawrence nearby and arrest him. The police said that they found drug paraphernalia on Lawrence.

    Police took Lawrence to the station and charged him with identify theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. After failing to make bail of 10% cash of $35,000, Lawrence was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
