DENVILLE, NJ – Sophomore Abagail Gerdes’ first goal of the season 4:45 into the final period proved to be the difference as Morris Knolls defeated Jefferson, 2-1, in a high school field hockey game played at Knolls Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Gerdes was assisted by fellow sophomore midfielder Elizabeth Boyle, who had scored an unassisted goal in the third period to create a 1-1 tie after Jefferson had scored the only goal of the first half.
