Mt. Laurel Library Hosting Saturday Matinée Film Screening

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Enjoy a viewing of a recent hit movie this weekend at the Mount Laurel Library.

The Library will be hosting a screening of the 2024 film One Life on Saturday, October 5 at 1PM.

One Life stars Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins and tells the incredible true story of Sir Nicholas "Nicky" Winton, a young London broker who helps rescue hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia in a race against time before Nazi occupation closes the borders on the verge of World War II. Fifty years later, Nicky is haunted by the fate of those he wasn't able to bring to safety.

Free popcorn and snacks will be provided by the Library. No registration is required to attend the screening. One Life is rated PG and runs for 1 hour and 49 minutes.

The Mount Laurel Library is located at 100 Walt Whitman Avenue.
