    Boys Soccer: Colonia Beats Plainfield, 4-1

    COLONIA, NJ — After trailing in the first half of Thursday's game, the Colonia Patriots erupted for four goals in the second half to come away with a 4–1 boys soccer victory over Plainfield.

    The Patriots (8-2-1) scored all their goals in the final 15 minutes of the game. Noah Belo scored with 15 minutes left and again with 10 minutes to go to give Colonia a 2-1 lead.

    Cristian Alvarez connected with three minutes remaining with an assist from Ryan Miller to give Colonia a 3-1 lead. Alvarez scored again a minute later.  Brandon DeSouza of Colonia made three saves.
