Sparta Girls Tennis Ends with a Win Against Lenape Valley

SPARTA, NJ – The girls tennis team defeated Lenape Valley 4-1 on Wednesday playing on the Patriot’s courts.
Sparta’s wins:

• Second Singles – Julia Miller 6-2, 6-0
• Third Singles – Emily Dondero 6-0, 6-3
• First Doubles – Emilie Fagen and Maureen Gaines 6-4, 6-0
• Second Doubles – Molly Tomko and Sunny Young 6-2, 6-1

The girls have had a challenging season with some standout performances, despite the final score. In the game against Pascack Valley Emily Dondero won the third singles match 6-3, 6-1. Julia Miller at second singles and Fagen/Gaines at first doubles lost their battles in the third set tie-break.
