CLIFTON, NJ – Chance Fischer rushed for two touchdowns and Nico Sampson Jr. passed for two touchdowns to lead Bayonne to a 27-7 football victory over Clifton on Friday night.

Fischer rushed for 167 yards on 18 carries for Bayonne (3-2), which led, 13-7, at halftime.

Sampson completed 11 of 16 passes for 114 yards with TD passes to Jared Edwards and Caleb Bazille. Daryl Smith caught three passes for 40 yards in the win.

Bayonne, winners of three straight games, will host Newark East Side on Friday night.
