HOLMDEL, NJ --- Chatham junior Nicolette Grossman placed 38th out of 188 runners in the 5K Varsity C Race with a time of 21:52 at the Shore Coaches Cross-Country Invitational held Saturday through sunny, but hot conditions at Holmdel Park.

Kathryn Heflin placed 73rd for Chatham in 23:14, Arwen Ellis was 77th in 23:23, Riley Snarr 92nd in 23:42 and Lauren Raunick 106th in 24:16 as the Cougars finished 11th out of 24 teams.

The Chatham JV runners earned third place out of 12 teams.
