Scenes from Scotch Plains Day

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Aided by spectacular weather, the annual Scotch Plains Day celebration had a great turnout on Park Ave. on Sunday, Oct. 6. The event featured food trucks, live music, community groups, emergency responders, local businesses, and political candidates meeting with voters, a rite of fall.

The hit of the event was clearly the lifelike Dinosaurs Arise outside State Farm Insurance on Park Ave. (across from Darby Road) where T-Rex, Triceratops and other Jurassic creatures seemingly came to life.
