Morris Museum Offering Free Día de Muertos Workshops

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ -  The Morristown community is invited to honor the  lives of deceased loved ones with the Morris Museum's free Día de Muertos community workshop. The free workshops will take place  on Saturday, October 12, and Friday, October 18, from 11 AM - 3 PM. The two day event is designed to help celebrate the lives of those who have passed through vibrant altars, offerings, and festivities, said museum officials . Bring a photo or create a drawing of your departed grandparent(s) to be framed and included in a collective altar installation on Saturday, November 2, from 11 AM to 5 PM in the Morris Museum Pavilion.
