    Field Hockey: South Brunswick Defeats Franklin, 2-1

    SOMERSET, NJ – South Brunswick scored goals in the first and third quarters and went on to defeat Franklin, 2-1, in field hockey on Monday.

    Manya Nukala and Olivia Shaw each had a goal and they assisted on each other's goals for South Brunswick (3-8-1). Masooma Saifuddin made eight saves for South Brunswick.

    Franklin's goal came in the third quarter when Victoria Osinski scored with an assist from Cara Merris. Brynn Van Beveren of Franklin made nine saves.
