Hillside Avenue School’s First Color Run is This Sunday in Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ – On October 13, Hillside Avenue School (HAS) is hosting its inaugural Color Run to raise funds for additional resources for the school, students, and teachers.

Participants in this family-friendly race begin in a white t-shirt and are splattered with nut-free and gluten-free colored powder at designated locations throughout the course. The colors are made with high-quality cornstarch, baking soda, and dyes, which are 100% FD&C and/or D&C approved.

Runners can choose one of three distances : the 400-meter, which starts at 9:00 a.m.; the 1-mile, which starts at 9:30 a.m., or the 5K, which starts at 10:15 a.m.

HAS’s fundraising goal for the Color Race is $5,500. Registering for the race costs $35 and can be done here . If supporting from the sidelines is more your speed, HAS welcomes any donation—nothing is too big or too small! The page for donations can be found here
