Vehicle Fire in Doylestown Closes Easton Road During Rush Hour

DOYLESTOWN, PA—A vehicle fire closed part of Easton Road for a few hours during the afternoon rush hour on Monday.

Doylestown Township police announced the closure on northbound Easton Road near the State Street exit shortly before 5 p.m.

Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 reported that firefighters arrived on the scene at about 4:45. They were able to clear the scene in about 30 minutes, and by 5:30 the police had announced that the roadway had been reopened before the end of rush hour.
