HS Girls Volleyball: Hasbrouck Heights Defeats Lodi on Senior Night

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – Priscilla Escamilla’s 11 assists led Hasbrouck Heights to a 2-0 victory over Lodi in a NJIC Meadowlands girls volleyball match on Monday evening on Senior Night. The Lady Aviators improved to 6-8 overall, and 3-4 in the Meadowlands. Lodi falls to 2-13, 0-7.

Before the match, Hasbrouck Heights honored seven players - Kyra Blake, Leshaunia Burrell, Priscilla Escamilla, Jaelyn Karwoski, Mackenzie Riordan, Bodhi Thool, and Tiffany Wojtkielewicz - on Senior Night. As is the volleyball team's tradition, underclassmen gave a brief speech as to what a player has meant to her and the team, and presented them with a personalized gift bin with gifts, spiritwear, and snacks. Each senior took photos with her family and as a team.

Tiffany Wotkielewicz and Mackenzie Riordan each had six kills for Hasbrouck Heights in the wins, while Riordan also chipped in with a team-high seven digs.

Sophia Romero had a team-high 10 service points for the Lady Aviators.
