Criminals Saw Through Sheet Rock Wall to Steal Merchandise from London Jewelers in Mall at Short Hills

SHORT HILLS, NJ – The Millburn Police Department reported that they responded to an activated burglary alarm at London Jewelers at the Short Hills Mall during the late night hours of October 5, 2024.

According to Captain Mark Azzopardi, “The investigation revealed that unknown actors forced entry into the store through a service entrance utility room. The actors cut a hole through the sheet rock wall and gained access to the store. They stole an undetermined amount of jewelry. The actors fled in awaiting vehicles. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
