HAWTHORNE, NJ - The borough celebrated the expansion of its community garden on Sunday.

On October 6, the Environmental Commission and Green Team displayed its expanded garden, including the addition of eight garden beds. With the expansion, the garden has a total of 24 garden beds for its residents.

The expanded community garden offers gardeners a space where they can grow fresh, organic produce and improve their health and well-being.

Hawthorne’s Community Garden is located at Ambulance Building Corp/9-11 Memorial at 970 Goffle Road.
