City of Elizabeth’s Pet Costume Contest Returns This Halloween Season

ELIZABETH, NJ - The City of Elizabeth invites all pets to embrace the Halloween spirit.

Mayor J. Christian Bollwage, the City of Elizabeth, and the Department of Health and Human Services will be hosting their annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest on October 19 from at Carteret Park.

The City of Elizabeth says a Pet Rabies Clinic will also be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The contest will begin at 3 p.m. Prizes will be given out to first, second, and third place.

Residents must bring their dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier. For more information, call 908-820-4026.
