Something To Cheer About - Violante's Kicks Off Fundraiser Fridays in Nutley

NUTLEY,  NJ - When the award-winning Gary Marino said, “this is the best time to live in Nutley,” he wasn't kidding. There's always something to cheer about in town.

Starting Friday, October 11, Violante's Meat Market is launching “Fundraiser Fridays.”

Every Friday, $2 from that day's dinner specials will be donated to an organization that's making Nutley great today, and even better tomorrow. The beneficiary of this week's Fundraiser Friday is the Nutley Raiders Cheerleaders.

For Friday, Oct. 11, the dinner specials are Chicken Parmigiana over Pasta ~ or ~ Santa Fe Chicken Over Rice. Each dinner comes with a side salad and feeds three or four people. Dinners are $29.99 plus tax.

In the coming weeks, the beneficiaries will include Nutley High School Girls Volleyball and the Pantry at Nutley Family Service Bureau. Addition Fundraiser Friday beneficiaries will be announced weekly.

Violante's is located at 105 Franklin Ave. at the corner of Harrison St. And yes, you can call head to order dinner at 973-944-2254. Pick up for dinner starts at 3 p.m.
