Incident in Cedar Knolls Required Residents to Shelter in Place or Evacuate on Wednesday Evening

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ - There was an incident involving a residence and a potentially dangerous situation inside the home in Hanover Township on Wednesday evening. TAPinto spoke with the Hanover Township police department today, who confirmed that there was an incident last night in the area of Parker Avenue, in the Cedar Knolls section of the Township. The Hanover Township Police Department, along with multiple law enforcement agencies, took a cautious approach and asked surrounding neighbors to evacuate or shelter in place.  There is still an active investigation going on.  The suspect was taken into custody last evening.
