Garden Fest 2024 Is This Weekend In Lincoln Park

JERSEY CITY, NJ- The second annual Garden Fest is coming up this weekend, hosted by Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Hudson County Board of Commissioners.

The event will take place on Sunday, October 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Learning Garden in Lincoln Park. The garden is located near the corner of Communipaw Avenue and Route 440.

Festivities will include garden games, a chicken photo booth, snacks, and more. There will also be a garden contest with prizes, including categories: garden project, food item, and garden art.

Entries will be accepted from 12 to 1 p.m. Items will be judged and awarded that afternoon.

The event is sponsored by the Hudson County 4-H Advisory Board, and cooperating agencies include: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Hudson County Board of Commissioners.
