Ariel Rivka Dance To Host Workshops On Grundy Pier

JERSEY CITY, NJ- Performance and interactive workshops will be held by Ariel Rivka Dance this Sunday, in conjunction with the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs and the Jersey City Arts And Culture Trust Fund.

The workshops will take place at J. Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place on October 13.

There will be two, free, interactive workshops at 5 and 6 p.m.

ARD is an all-female contemporary dance company based in New Jersey led by Artistic Director Ariel Grossman that seeks to create a space for open-hearted movement collaborations rooted in women’s experiences, according to the mission statement.

With live performances, global touring, and workshops for all ages, the company aims to transcend the stage by exploring individual stories that connect to the broader community.

Through movement, ARD states it desires to create a community of vulnerability and acceptance, providing opportunities for hope and connection.
