    Rahway Boys Advance in County Tournament with Win over Brearley

    RAHWAY, NJ — The Rahway High School boys varsity soccer team had already won six games in a row, including four shutouts, when it hosted Brearley at home on Thursday in the first round of the Union County tournament. The Indians would add another win, and another shutout, to its resume, defeating the Brearley Bears 5-0.

    Junior Luis Bustios scored twice, seniors Bryan Marin and Yahir Linares each scored once, and freshman Jayden Morris scored once.

    Sophomore Ryan Carillo had three assists.

    Junior James Wysocki had one assist.

    Goalie Sebastian Grisales had six saves.

    The team now moves on to the second round of the tournament, taking on Roselle on Tuesday, October 15. The time is yet to be determined.

    Rahway plays its next regular season game on Friday, October 18, against Roselle Catholic, at home, at 4 p.m.
