MORRISTOWN, NJ — Unity Charter School made a strong showing at the 17th Annual Art Show held at the Morris Museum on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024. The event, themed "How Art & Culture Represent Native Americans, the Indigenous People of the Americas," brought together a celebration of culture, history, and creative expression. Two Unity students stood out among the competition, earning top honors for their outstanding work.

Aarvy, a dedicated young artist, earned second place for her evocative piece that captured the essence of Native American heritage through vibrant colors via a three-dimensional piece about the “Native Americans Tribe War Bonnet” . Juhi followed closely behind, achieving third place with her thought-provoking representation of Indigenous culture centered around the expression “It is better to have less thunder in the mount and more lightening in the hand”. Their success not only highlights their individual talents but also reflects the strength of Unity Charter School's commitment to the arts.
