    BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Bridgewater-Raritan girls soccer team advanced in the quarterfinal round of the Somerset County Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Hillsborough on Thursday.

    Hayden Tormasi gave the Panthers (8-3-1) a 2-0 lead less than eight minutes into the game, scoring 2:03 into the contest with an assist from Reese Reimann, then scoring at the 33:35 mark with a helper from Grace Drumgool.

    Brooke Engstrom of Bridgewater-Raritan made five saves.

    The fourth-seeded Panthers will play at top-seeded Rutgers Prep in the semifinals on Tuesday.
