Football: Newark Central Beats Hoboken, 24-20

HOBOKEN, NJ – Newark Central scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to rally for a 24-20 football victory over Hoboken on Friday night.

Isaiah Blanks threw three touchdown passes for Hoboken (1-5), which, itself, rallied from a 12-0 first-half deficit.

Blanks threw a 10-yard TD pass to Jae'on Walker in the second quarter, and he had scoring passes of 11 yards to Devin McMillan and 36 yards to Max Casazza in the third quarter, when the RedWings opened a 20-12 lead.

Blanks completed 14 of 17 passes for 181 yards. Walker had a team-high six receptions for 100 yards.
