    Football: Caldwell Beats Millburn, 42-14

    WEST CALDWELL, NJ – Nick Mignone scored four touchdowns to lead Caldwell to a 42-14 football victory over Millburn on Friday night.

    Mignone scored the Chiefs' first three touchdowns, breaking the scoreless tie with a 6-yard run off left tackle with 1:14 left in the first quarter followed by the first of Matt Murtagh's six extra-point kicks.

    With 9:25 left in the second quarter, Mignone went off right tackle for a 10-yard TD run and a 14-0 lead for Caldwell (3-4). His longest scoring run of the night, a 30-yard scamper off the left side, came with 7:22 to go in the second quarter.

    Adam Sepe's 20-yard pass to Mike Mignone on a slant pattern over the middle with 4:17 left in the second quarter helped extend Caldwell's lead to 28-0.

    Millburn (2-5) got on the board before halftime on the first of quarterback PJ Sicoli's two touchdown runs in the game, a 13-yard TD with 19 seconds left in the second quarter. Ryan Feldman kicked the first of his two PATs.

    Nick Mignone had a 10-yard TD run with 9:16 left in the third quarter, and Solomon Soriente ran 7 yards for a Caldwell TD with 4:13 remaining in the third quarter.
