TINTON FALLS, NJ – Jack Cannon passed for three touchdowns and ran for two to steer Holmdel to a 49-12 football victory over Monmouth Regional on Friday night.

Cannon completed 9 of 12 passes for 139 yards and he carried nine times for 64 yards for Holmdel (6-1).

Alex Reyes, Frankie Serini and Michael Todisco caught touchdown passes from Cannon. Serini led the Hornets in receiving with three catches for 65 yards.

Anthony Serini, who had 33 yards on five carries, rushed for a Holmdel touchdown after substituting as quarterback for Cannon in the final period. Matt Iulo recovered a fumble on defense for a touchdown for the Hornets.

Holmdel will play at Manalapan next Friday night.
