Football: Middlesex Outscores JFK-Iselin, 36-32

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Dom Parenti's 34-yard touchdown pass to Jax Jarvis rallied Middlesex to a 36-32 football victory over JFK of Iselin on Friday night.

JFK (3-5) had gone ahead earlier in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard TD run by Richie Trotman to take a 32-29 lead.

A four-touchdown outburst in the second quarter gave the Mustangs a 26-14 halftime lead. Trotman passed for three TDs and Grant Lorentzen threw one TD pass in that quarter.

Lee Tobon caught two TD passes for JFK, one from Trotman and one from Lorentzen. Lorenten caught two scoring passes from Trotman in the second quarter.

Trotman completed 14 of 26 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns, and Lorentzen's only completion went for 80 yards to Tobon.

Although he didn't score, Fiheen Howell Jr. had a big game on the ground for the Mustangs, gaining 140 yards on 30 carries in the loss.

JFK will host South Plainfield next Saturday afternoon.
