Ocean County Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh Raises Funds for Cancer Support

STAFFORD - On October 4, 2024, the Ocean County Chapter of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh hosted a successful trivia night to benefit David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit provides crucial support to families affected by cancer, including financial assistance, wellness resources, and patient support.

Over 70 trivia enthusiasts gathered to test their knowledge under the guidance of quiz masters Jim McCabe and Steve Derion. The event featured prizes for the top three teams and individuals who answered bonus questions correctly. Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, the evening raised over $3,400.
