Piscataway Boys Cross Country Places 2nd at GMC Division Championships

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Piscataway High School’s boys cross-country placed second overall behind Spotswood at the Greater Middlesex Conference White Division Championships in Jamesburg on Wednesday.

Individually, senior Mike Shtelen crossed the finish line in first place, running the 5000-meter course in 17:31.64.

Samuel Rosario-Roach finished in 10th place in 18:48.77.

Aaryan Patel ran the course in 19:58.59 13, while Kushal Trivedi ran it in 20:01.21 for 15th and 16th place respectively.

Sherman Glasco finished in 20:31.32, Nikhil Gill in 20:35.21 19, and Rishan Rajesh in 20:41.43.

Caleb Reavey ran the 5000 meters in 21:00.86, Om Sharma in 21:41.49, and Jayden Pemberton in 21:43.35.

The Chiefs return to Jamesburg on Saturday, October 26 for the Greater Middlesex Championships. Boys varsity starts at 9:30 a.m.
