RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood's own Zander Warne was among the students at the University of Iowa named to the Dean's List for the 2024 spring semester. No Garbage or Recycling Collection in South Brunswick on Independence Day
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The township will not collect garbage or recycling on Thursday due to the holiday. All materials scheduled for collection on Thursday will be picked up on Friday, according to the township. Residents with regular Friday collections are instructed to place their materials at the curb as normal. Edison Woman Killed by Fallen Tree at New York Campground
EDISON, NJ - A woman from Edison Township was killed by a downed tree at a campground in Delaware County, New York, according to the Colchester Police Department. Authorities say they have identified the victim as Carol E. Luistro. Police say they received numerous reports of trees down at campsites on Saturday due to a passing storm. Doylestown Biotech Firm Gets Big Grant from Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation
DOYLESTOWN, PA—A local biotech company has received a $1.49 million grant from the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research to investigate the development of a drug that could help Parkinson’s patients. Kannalife Sciences Inc., which is located in the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center near the Doylestown Airport, specializes in developing small molecule therapeutics that target inflammation.
