Man arrested for allegedly planning to meet 13-year-old girl for sexual assault
HALTOM CITY, Texas — A 33-year-old man from Haltom City has been arrested after allegedly planning to meet and sexually assault a 13-year-old girl. In June 2024, Constable Ryan Gable's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division launched an investigation into Scott Jacob Baldwin, of Haltom City, Texas. According to the ICAC Division, Baldwin communicated with an adult female who allegedly resides in The Woodlands. During their conversations, Baldwin and the woman coordinated a plan to meet in person with the intent of sexually assaulting the woman's purported 13-year-old daughter.
