On Friday, Miranda Lambert headlined the venue CMAC in Cananadaigua, New York, where The Cadillac Three and Adam Hood joined her as openers.

And after his opening set, Miranda brought her friend Adam back out later in her show to do a duet of the Merle Haggard classic, "Silver Wings."

It's a song Miranda has covered throughout her career here and there, and of course, was included on The Hag's 1969 album A Portrait of Merle Haggard. A solo write from the record, it’s all about Merle’s heartbreak when the woman he loves gets on a plane to go somewhere far away and leaves him lonely back home.

It’s still beloved by fans to this day (even though it was never released as a single and it definitely should’ve been), and has remained a country classic for going on 60 years now, and I can’t get enough of this acoustic rendition, which really shows off their incredible talent.

Their voices pair perfectly, and it's a beautiful cover of an all-time great song. Check it out here:
