Bright, crunchy coleslaw is a handy side dish for so many meals, from summer cookout menus to winter’s braised meats. It’s wild that store-bought coleslaw dressing is popular since homemade salad dressing recipes are incredibly easy to make. Just gather the ingredients and find a bowl to create this homemade coleslaw dressing! Dressings are easy to customize too. Simply adjust the spices, herbs and seasonings to suit your taste.

Coleslaw Dressing

2 packages (10 ounces each) refrigerated cheese ravioli. 1/4 cup soft sun-dried tomato halves (not packed in oil), chopped. Cook ravioli according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon, red pepper and green onion until bacon is crisp. Drain all but 1 tablespoon drippings from pan. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, garlic salt and pepper.
