Another high school indoor track season came and went in the Greater Taunton area.

Bridgewater-Raynham (2-0, 2-0 Southeast Conference) led the way locally, finishing third at the SEC Championship while Taunton (1-4, 1-4 Hockomock) had some strong performers and finished fifth at the Hockomock Championship and Dighton-Rehoboth (0-2, 0-2 South Coast Conference) finished fourth at the SCC Championship.

With the winter season now in the rearview, here's a final look back at the Greater Taunton area athletes who stood out among the crowd to earn their spot as 2023-24 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Indoor Track All-Scholastics.

The senior sprinter further solidified his spot among the all-time Tiger track greats in his final indoor season, being crowned Hockomock champion in both the 55 (0:06.62) and 300 meters (0:35.46), after having won both events in all five dual meets. He recorded a personal best 55 meter time of 0:06.6 as he finished sixth at the MIAA Division 1 Championship and a season best 300 time of 0:35.11 with a first place finish at the MSCTA Large School Coaches Invitational. He also finished 11th in the 300 meters with a time of 0:35.82 at the MIAA Meet of Champions.

Named the Hockomock League MVP, Shearrion was also the 2022-23 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Indoor Track Athlete of the Year , the 2022 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year and was a 2023 Taunton Daily Gazette Football Second Team All-Scholastic . A key member of all three teams, his talents and leadership will surely be missed in Taunton next year, but not before he wraps up his high school career at the 2024 Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, Ore. next month.
