Vote for the 2024 Taunton Gazette Preseason Defensive Football Player of the Year?

The opening kickoff of the 2024 high school football season is fast approaching in the Greater Taunton area.

In the lead up to the season, the Taunton Daily Gazette has looked at players to watch on both offense and defense this fall, but now it's up to our readers to make their choice for the 2024 Taunton Daily Gazette Defensive Football Player of the Preseason.

While many of the nominated players play both sides of the ball, those featured here are primarily known for their defensive roles.

Polls are open through noon on Sept. 6, the first gameday for all four Greater Taunton area teams. The winner will be announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and in the 2024 high school football hub that day.
