Another week of high school football is upon us in the Greater Taunton area.
In Week 3 , Bristol-Plymouth (1-1, 1-0 Mayflower Large) kicked things off Thursday showing some solid improvement after a bye week in a 28-6 win over South Shore Tech. On Friday, Taunton (2-1) struggled to contain the North Attleboro backfield in a 42-8 Hockomock cross-divisional loss. Bridgewater-Raynham (0-3) fell 38-28 to Marshfield in a back-and-forth non-league battle while Dighton-Rehoboth/Bristol Aggie (0-3) fell 42-12 to Dennis-Yarmouth in non-league action down the Cape.
This week, it's Taunton's turn to take a bye week while the other three local teams hit the road. On Friday, West Bridgewater routed Dighton-Rehoboth/Bristol Aggie in a South Coast Conference crossover showdown. On Saturday morning, Bridgewater-Raynham heads over to Middleboro while Bristol-Plymouth heads down the Cape for a midday Mayflower Athletic Conference crossover matchup with Upper Cape Tech.
The Falcons kick off at 6:30 p.m. Friday while the Trojans and Craftsmen kick off at 10 a.m. and noon Saturday, respectively.
