Follow live: Week 5 Greater Taunton high school football scores and highlights

By Cameron Merritt, The Taunton Daily Gazette,

Another week of high school football is upon us in the Greater Taunton area.

In Week 4 , Bridgewater-Raynham (1-3) put up a big second-half performance on both sides of the ball to beat Middleboro, 42-20, for the first win of the Eian Bain era. Bristol-Plymouth (2-1, 1-0 Mayflower Large) made it two in a row with a 24-0 shutout win over Upper Cape Tech while Dighton-Rehoboth/Bristol Aggie (0-4) were shut out 42-0 by West Bridgewater. Taunton (2-1) had a bye week.

This week, both Bridgewater-Raynham and Dighton-Rehoboth/Bristol Aggie are on their byes, meaning just the two Taunton-based schools are in action Friday night. Taunton takes a trip up to perennial powers Everett but those bright Friday night lights will still be on at Aleixo "Tiger" Stadium as Bristol-Plymouth plays host to Greater Lowell Tech.

The Craftsmen kick off at 6:30 p.m. while the Tigers are scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
