The 2024 Taunton Daily Gazette Baseball All-Scholastics

Another high school baseball season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.

Taunton (19-5, 14-2 Hockomock League) led the way again locally, with the Tigers capturing their first outright Hockomock Kelley-Rex title since 2013 but falling short of a third straight Division 1 title at the hands of non-league rivals No. 11 Durfee in the Round of 16. Dighton-Rehoboth (14-8, 9-6 South Coast Conference) carried its momentum from last year's strong second half into another Division 3 tournament berth, this time making it to the Round of 16 before ultimately falling to eventual semifinalists No. 6 Tantasqua .

Bristol-Plymouth (8-11, 6-4 Mayflower Athletic Conference) fell short of a tournament berth but had some strong moments, including winning its final three league games. Bridgewater-Raynham (7-13, 3-5 Southeast Conference) went through a rebuilding year while facing a tough non-league schedule, but ended the season on a high note thanks to a walk-off win over perennial powerhouse Franklin in the season finale.

With the spring season now in the rearview, here's a final look back at the Greater Taunton area athletes who stood out among the crowd to earn their spot as 2024 Taunton Daily Gazette Baseball All-Scholastics.
