    Structure fire damages building in Taylor

    TAYLOR, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A structure fire damaged a building in Taylor Saturday afternoon.

    According to the Lackawanna County Center for Public Safety, a call came in just before 1:00 p.m. for a reported structure fire on the 100 block of North Main Street.

    Officials say that the building houses several apartments.

    Helicopter hits powerline and crashes in Schuylkill County

    There have been no reported injuries according to authorities.

    Taylor Fire Department is heading the response with units from Moosic Fire Department, Old Forge Fire Department, and South Abington Fire Department assisting.
