INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

Memorial Island Sanctuary's Memorial Day Ceremony

• 9 a.m. Monday
• Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary, 3001 Riverside Drive, Vero Beach
• The Veterans Council of Indian River County invites the community to attend a Memorial Day observance with keynote speaker U.S. Navy Cmdr. Michael Fortunato. Seating is limited. Bring lawn chairs.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY

Kill the Kegs

• 2-5 p.m. Saturday
• Pierced Ciderworks, 411 N. Second St., Fort Pierce
• Celebrate Memorial Day with a tasting of 10 exclusive cider flavors, cider education and live music.

Memorial Day Picnic

• Noon to 4 p.m. Monday
• Elks 2658, 2290 S.E. Lennard Road, Port St. Lucie
• Enjoy classic American food, bake sales and music with a chance of winning 50-50 raffle baskets.

Memorial Day Cornhole Tournament

• 11:30 a.m. Monday
• Lakeview Bar & Grille, 951 S.W. Country Club Drive, Port St. Lucie
• The St. Lucie Trail Golf Club is open to the public and hosting a blind draw, double-elimination cornhole tournament with cash prizes. Registration and warmups will be from 10-11 a.m., and chips will be drawn for teams at 11:15 a.m. The pool will be open. Tickets include one free alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink and one free food platter.

MARTIN COUNTY

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

• 10 a.m. to noon Monday
• Memorial Park, 300 S.E. Ocean Blvd., Stuart
• Celebrate Memorial Day with Stuart's annual parade starting at Southeast Amerigo Avenue on East Ocean Boulevard and ending at Memorial Park. The ceremony at Memorial Park starts at 11 a.m.
