The Treasure Coast area is down to one team left.

Through two rounds of the state volleyball playoffs, only Vero Beach remains alive in the hunt for a title as it advanced following a four-set victory over Olympia in a Region 2-7A semifinal.

The area’s other three teams in action on Saturday each were eliminated.

Here’s a roundup of the results from Saturday, Oct. 26.

For the first time since 2020 and the second time in program history, Vero Beach will play for the right to head to the Final Four after darting past the Titans at home.

The visitors broke through first by taking the first set 25-22, but Vero responded by overpowering Olympia in the next three sets by nine, five and seven points, respectively.

No set was decided by more than three points as scores were 23-25, 26-24, 25-22 and 28-26.

Matching its record from a season ago, South Fork ends its 2024 season at 13-13.

Highlighted by its first district title and regional postseason victory in a decade, Pine School wraps up its season at 15-7.
