    MITCH’S CORNER

The 94th Annual Teague 4th of July Rodeo is this weekend, July 4-6.

The 1st Annual Youth Rodeo was held on Saturday night.. We have been attending the rodeo our entire lives.

It is just a tradition. The atmosphere is amazing and those world famous chili dogs are to die for.

We have already attended some workshops for school and have more workshops over the next several weeks. We are hoping to get a few days of relaxation in before school starts back up in August.

Teachers really do not get a break during the summer.

This week’s Bible verse is Exodus 14:14. It says, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Most of the time in our lives, we want things to happen immediately. We want answers and want doors to be open when we find them.

However, sometimes they are not. We need to be still and tell God what is on our hearts. He hears our cry and will open the doors at the perfect timing.

His timing is always perfect. God teaches us to be patient during these times and to trust in him. He has a plan for each and every one of us and he will fight for us.

We just have to stop trying to do things by ourselves and wait for him and his timing.

My prayer for us this week is that we will be still and let God do his thing because his timing is always perfect. Until next week, make him famous in all that you do!
