    2 arrested for allegedly selling drugs out of RV in Tehachapi: police

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people were arrested in Tehachapi for allegedly selling drugs out of an RV, according to police.

    The Tehachapi Police Department said officers were called to look into a report of someone making “hand-to-hand” drug sales out of an RV at a business. Officers then found the RV at a Save Mart on Tucker Road.

    Officials said officers found a Tehachapi couple inside and then searched the RV. According to a release, officers found 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a plastic bag along with packaging materials and a scale.

    The two were booked into the Kern County Jail in Lerdo for possession of a controlled substance for sale and other related charges.
