Pets of the Week: Meet Oakley and Kellie

Oakley is a 4-year-old male Great Dane mix. He was surrendered to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County on Sept. 24 after he began chasing the family cat. Oakley is friendly, affectionate and playful. He is good with other dogs, and he loves everyone — but he is not a fan of cats. He enjoys being outside, playing ball and getting petted. He is just a big lover boy. Oakley is already neutered, so with an approved application, he could potentially go home with you the same day.

Kellie is a 15-year-old female domestic short-haired cat. She was brought to the Humane Society on Sept. 12 when her owner said they no longer had time for her. Kellie is the shelter's eldest cat resident, and the Humane Society really wants her to find a home where she can just be a loving lap cat. Kellie is friendly, super sweet and very affectionate. She has lived with other cats and a dog. Kellie is already spayed, so with an approved application she could potentially go home with you the same day.
