Boil water advisory issued for part of West Beal Avenue, Southern Lights Shopping Center

The Bucyrus Water Department issued a boil water advisory for West Beal Avenue, from Rosedale Avenue to Linwood Drive, and all of the Southern Lights Shopping Center because of a watermain break or depressurization.

Residents should bring water to a boil for at least one minute before consuming it or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.

The Bucyrus Water Department has no evidence the water system is contaminated and is issuing this advisory as a precaution.
