Pennsylvania man loses $90,000 over one year in gift card scam
LONGSWAMP TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police say a man fell victim to a gift card scam for a year, losing thousands of dollars. State Police in Reading say they were investigating a theft by deception when an Alburtis man in his 70s reported a possible scam on July 1. Troopers say the man reported losing approximately $90,000 in Apple gift cards over the course of a year.
National car wash chain, delivering ‘ultimate shine,’ to open Quakertown area location

Tommy's Express Car Wash, a rapidly growing car wash chain delivering “the ultimate shine to love your ride,” is expected to open in August at 920 S. New Britain Township Truck Inspection Takes Three Vehicles Off the Road
NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA—A crew of commercial vehicle inspectors in New Britain Township last week pulled over 21 vehicles and removed three from the roads. On July 10, the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Inspection Team inspected vehicles on Business Route 202, County Line Road and Upper State Road. Of the three vehicles removed from the road, two had bad brakes. Another six were too big or too heavy for the road. The crew issued a total of 12 traffic citations and 26 traffic warnings.
