Tempe Time Machine starts May 29

Join Tempe on a hunt for history, exploring Tempe History Museum’s array of objects to learn about and discover the city’s past through crafts, stories, activities and live demonstrations.

Tempe Time Machine returns this summer every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 29 through July 17 at the Tempe History Museum, a city release stated. No program will be held on June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

The 2024 Tempe Time Machine program is inspired by the museum’s Main Exhibit Gallery, where you can learn Tempe’s history through four topics: Surviving in the Desert, Building Our Community, Living Together and College Town, the release explained.

Tempe Time Machine programs are free, and registration is not required. Groups of 10 or more are welcome — for the best experience please call 480-350-5140 to schedule your date and time.
