As businesses around the world continued to grapple with the massive IT outage that took place early July 19, Tempe seems to be safe from any major impacts.

According to Tempe officials, the city has not experienced any disruptions to its services as a result of the outage.

Paulette Pacioni from the Tempe Chamber of Commerce stated in an email the chamber has not felt any impacts as well. Reaching out to chamber members, she said that there weren’t any problems with those she spoke with.

“My husband works for Fusion Power Solar, and he couldn’t clock in early this morning, but it worked a half-hour ago,” Pacioni wrote.

While this tech outage has grounded flights, with banks and media outlets also knocked offline, Tempe seems to be relatively unscathed.

Kyrene School District has also been unaffected by the outage, according to district officials.
