If you are wondering how to listen to the Olympics, iHeartRadio has you covered. iHeartRadio is the exclusive audio home of NBC's coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics, so it is the only place to listen to the Olympics stream. The free iHeart app is where to go to listen to exclusive play-by-play action of Team USA . To celebrate, we are spotlighting some of the country's athletes that are vying for gold.

Paige Heyn , a 16-year-old skateboarder from Tempe, Arizona, is set to make her Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Heyn, who began skateboarding at the age of four, has quickly risen to the top of the sport, becoming one of the youngest members of Team USA.

Heyn's journey in skateboarding began when her uncle gave her a handcrafted purple and pink tie-dyed skateboard. Despite dabbling in other sports, Heyn was drawn to skateboarding and has been dedicated to the sport ever since. She trained for hours at Kids That Rip (KTR), a sports facility in Arizona, where she met Jagger Eaton , a fellow Arizonan and Olympic bronze medalist in skateboarding.

According to AZCentral , Heyn has been competing in professional competitions since she was 11 and has won the national championships in women's street in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She also won a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in 2023, becoming the first U.S. skateboarder to earn a Pan American Games medal. Currently, she is ranked 10th in the World Skateboard Rankings.

Heyn's unique ability as a switch skater, meaning she can skate with both her left and right foot, sets her apart from her competitors. Her coach, John Nicholson , credits Heyn for kickstarting the level of progression in women's skateboarding.

Despite the intense travel schedule and the physical toll of the sport, Heyn remains dedicated to her craft. She skates for three to five hours a day and is enrolled in an online program for young elite athletes due to her demanding schedule.

Heyn is sponsored by Jones Soda and hopes for more sponsorships in the future following the Olympics. As she prepares for the Paris Olympics, Heyn has something special planned but is saving the reveal for the competition.

From exclusive NBC play-by-play action of Team USA to live hourly updates from the Games to original Summer Games podcasts, you can listen to the Olympics stream only on iHeartRadio . Find out more about how to listen .
