The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance will host a forum to address initiatives on the Nov. 5 ballot.

The forum will take place 8:30-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. 250 N. Arizona Ave.

Advocacy experts will explain the initiatives and how they will affect businesses if passed. Topics include transportation, tipped and minimum wages, immigration, initiative signature collection processes and more.

Admission to the event is $20 and includes breakfast. Register at https://zurl.co/Hhkz.

The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance is a coalition of several East Valley chambers seeking to represent the interests and needs of the businesses within the region, the alliance states on its website.

The alliance is made up of the Apache Junction, Carefree, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and Tempe chambers of commerce.

Each year, the alliance produces two reports on the legislative session with the first establishing legislative positions and the second rating legislators on their positions. The alliance has its own lobbyist.

$20 for GOVERNMENT PLANNING? And breakfast. Chamber of Commerce ? Member driven. So that’s why Chandler allowed a cannabis shop next to a school office as property was owned by a chair at the time? Business friendly not Resident friendly.
